This role involves working in a dynamic and challenging environment, supporting vital cardiac catheterization procedures. Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab Tech

• Prepare the lab and operate essential equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and hemodynamic measurements
• Collaborate with the medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency
• Act as the radiation safety representative during X-ray usage
• Support the physician and ensure patient safety during procedures

Requirements of the Cath Lab Tech

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required
• One of the following certifications is preferred: RCIS, RCES, RCS, Radiography (R), CI, CV, VI by ARRT, AB, OB/GYN, AE, RVT by ARDMS
• State Licensure required based on modality
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
