This position requires three 12-hour day shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Neuro experience is required, and travel experience is preferred. Candidates must possess relevant certifications, including ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Float requirements include working in ICU, IMC, and Tele as needed. Candidates should have experience with blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Experience in CVA/acute stroke management, ICP monitoring, and trauma care is advantageous. The unit caters primarily to adult patients with varying neuro conditions. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, physical therapy, and social services is essential. Candidates should be prepared to manage a patient population with a daily census of approximately 14. This role requires adaptability and readiness to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
