Virtua Health is committed to providing exceptional care close to home. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in Mount Holly at 175 Madison Avenue. This is a part-time, per diem, on-site position working in the 1st shift.

The role requires flexibility with a minimum of 4 shifts per month, including weekends and holidays. All Registrar positions must complete a 3-week dayshift orientation before moving to the assigned schedule.

The position involves gathering and entering patient demographic information into the hospital information system, verifying benefits, obtaining required authorizations, and ensuring accurate and thorough registrations. The candidate will act as the first contact representative of Virtua, providing excellent customer service.

Position responsibilities include obtaining copies of patient insurance cards and identification, entering demographic, financial, insurance, and clinical information into the computer system, and processing co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and deposits. The role also involves providing additional office support.

Position qualifications include one year of customer service in a professional setting, preferably in a medical office or admittance environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks, and basic typing, computer, and word processing skills are required. A high school diploma is necessary, and one year of Epic system experience is highly preferred.

The hourly rate for this position is $18.69 - $26.01, which varies based on experience and internal equity. Virtua offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and part-time colleagues.
