Project/Program Manager

Our client is a company operating a marketplace for consumers, sellers, and content creators. It offers merchandise and content purchased for resale from vendors and those offered by third party sellers. Job Description Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program. Oversees all aspects of projects/program. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Purpose of the Team and key projects Warehouses and fulfillment centers- whenever there is a yard (outside the building, docks, entire ground)- automate function in the yard. Shuttling, drivers to check in, audits. This team is trying to make more efficient. Help with fraud and safety operations. Top Must Have Hard Skills 10+ years of program/project management experience in technology or operations Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with competing priorities Experience with transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred Strong technical acumen with ability to understand and communicate technical concepts Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across all organizational levels Problem solving communication Nice to haves MBA or Master's degree PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification Experience with automation technologies and IoT deployments Background in security systems or authentication solutions Experience with vendor management and external partnerships Years of Experience 10+ yr Degree/ Certification Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field PM in tech or operations: managing technical software or hardware.
