We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift contract assignment in a critical care environment. This position is ideal for nurses with strong ICU and cardiac care experience who thrive in a fast-paced setting caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to ICU and coronary care patients
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients and cardiac drips
• Perform IV therapy, arterial line management, central line care, PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Care for patients with COPD, CHF, renal failure, DKA, GI bleeds, overdose cases, and post-surgical complications
• Assist with chest tube management, ventilator support, BiPAP/CPAP, and emergency interventions
• Interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid patient condition changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Float within scope as needed to support facility operations

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required Active RN license required ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Strong critical care, ventilator, and cardiac monitoring experience Experience with IV insulin protocols, vasoactive drips, and renal failure patients Cerner charting experience preferred Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
