Bon Secours Medical Associates provides primary care for the whole family, offering Family and Internal Medicine to patients of all ages from pediatrics through geriatric. We are adding two Family Medicine Physicians to the team!

We are in the heart of Virginia Beach, close to I-64 and I-264, Mount Trashmore and Town Center—15 minutes from the oceanfront. Restaurants, grocery stores, apparel stores, gas stations, and many other amenities surround the practice.

Practice Details

• Bon Secours Mercy Health is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 health system—eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
• 3 MDs and 1 FNP in the practice. The team welcomes new graduates from residency—seasoned physicians are also warmly welcomed.
• 100% outpatient practice—no hospital responsibility.
• Full Time: 36 clinical / 4 admin hours per week.
• Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., including lunch break.
• Call Rotation: 1:10—shared with another FM practice.
• Our providers see 20–22 patients per day on average after the ramp‑up period.
• The new provider will absorb an existing patient panel and also establish their own.
• EPIC EMR, MyChart telemedicine, DAX Copilot AI to focus on patients in real time and minimize after‑hours charting.
• X‑Ray on site. PharmD and Chronic Case Manager assistance are available virtually.
• Basic in‑office procedures: POC, EKG, suture removal, skin tag removal, I&D, some well‑woman care.
• 1:1 CMA support.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have completed a U.S. residency program and be Board Eligible or Board Certified by the ABMS (ABIM, ABFM). Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

• Up to $35,000 sign‑on bonus.
