This highly collaborative role drives strategic initiatives, guides by influence, and partners across Product, Order Management, Data Delivery Centers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable data solutions that meet client needs and advance business objectives.In this role, you’ll draw on critical thinking, analytical skills, and deep product knowledge to interpret complex customer requirements and shape clear extract specifications and deliverables. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will advise account executives and product managers on how Cotality’s data assets align with sophisticated business use cases, and perform in-depth analysis of product logic and data models to validate assumptions, troubleshoot issues, and improve solution performance.Job Responsibilities: Strategic advisory for Sales & Client Support: Act as the primary technical partner during client onboarding and post-sales engagement, delivering concierge-level support for high-profile bulk data clients.Critical thinking & advanced problem solving: Evaluate complex, ambiguous requirements and architect scalable solutions that balance client impact, feasibility, and risk.Deep dive technical analysis: Investigate product logic, data models, and algorithmic workflows to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment with client objectives.Mentorship by influence: Coach and elevate junior analysts through reviews, playbooks, and hands-on guidance; foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product, Delivery, and Order Management to align on data needs, dependencies, and timelines; remove blockers proactively.Solution design & documentation: Author detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and extract specifications for advanced custom and standardized data products. Perform User Acceptance Testing to ensure the product is market ready.Validation & optimization: Confirm specifications with stakeholders; refine designs to improve reliability, performance, and client satisfaction.Innovation & thought leadership: Research emerging technologies and best practices; contribute reusable patterns, templates, and tooling to enhance delivery and client experience.Job Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a discipline requiring strong analytical and critical thinking skills (e.g., Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience.7+ years professional experience in data-driven or technical consulting roles, with proven experience working with complex solution designs.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and simplify technical complexity.Demonstrated ability to translate intricate business requirements into actionable, high-quality specifications.Strong organizational skills; adept at prioritizing multiple high impact initiatives and navigating cross-team dependencies.Advanced interpersonal skills for building consensus across cross-functional teams.Proficiency in data synthesis, pattern recognition, and strategic solution development.Technical proficiency in SQL; advanced familiarity with Python, Tableau, and cloud platforms.Ability to analyze and interpret product logic, data models, and algorithmic workflows.Domain knowledge in the real estate economy (e.g., mortgage servicing, property insurance, credit).Understanding of Big Data, Cloud, and Machine Learning concepts (preferred).#LI-HybridApplication Window:This opportunity is expected to remain posted through the date identified below, subject to business needs.Thrive with CotalityAt Cotality, we offer more than just a job, we provide a benefits experience designed to support your whole self.
