Job Overview


We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care within a skilled nursing facility during overnight shifts. This role involves delivering direct nursing care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

The RN will play a key role in promoting patient safety, maintaining clinical standards, and supporting positive health outcomes in a long-term care environment.


Key Responsibilities


Provide direct patient care and perform comprehensive nursing assessments
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in EMR systems
Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary staff
Supervise and support LPNs and nursing assistants as needed
Ensure compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and infection control protocols
Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment


Requirements


Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
State-issued identification required
