Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join our team on a nocturnist schedule. The ideal candidate will work 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off, supporting hospitalist services with a patient rounding census of 15-18 and an average of 8 admissions per shift. This role requires strong clinical skills within the scope of hospital medicine, with experience preferred but not mandatory. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required, along with current BC or BE status. Candidates must have an active NCMB license, DEA license, and certifications including BLS and ACLS. The EMR system used is EPIC, with preferred experience. Vaccination compliance is mandatory.


Support staff: Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) and other support staff nightly.


Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient care, manage admissions, and coordinate with hospital teams
• Document via EPIC system
• Maintain compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital privileging requirements
• Work within the defined schedule and support hospital operations effectively

Qualifications:

• BC or BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active NCMB license and DEA in-hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to work night shifts and PRN fill-in shifts
• Experience in hospital medicine preferred

• No central line placements required
• No special procedures outside of standard hospitalist scope
• Supportive team environment committed to your success
• Privileging timeframe approximately 60-90 days
• Hourly Pay Rate: $167.70
