Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:


Provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, ensuring prompt assessment and treatment of patients with critical and urgent needs. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions rapidly to identify urgent needs and prioritize care.
• Administer emergency treatments and interventions including CPR, IV placement, and medication administration.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, perform trauma assessments, and support resuscitation efforts.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and documentation standards consistently.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of experience in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Strong clinical skills, including rapid patient assessment and emergency procedures.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or ENPC required.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with emergency and trauma equipment, including GE/Stryker/Plum 360 systems.
