The role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.

What you bring to the role:

• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in North Carolina
• Experience working with school-aged children across diverse needs and environments
• Background in school-based or healthcare/clinic OT preferred; home health experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions for students K-12
• Flexibility and adaptability to address the needs of various age groups

What you’ll do:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Administer assessments to determine students’ needs and document progress toward goals
• Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create and adapt individualized plans
• Offer expertise during IEP meetings and contribute to the development of functional goals
• Maintain accurate therapy records and comply with school and district documentation requirements
• Embrace a multidisciplinary environment, supporting inclusion and student success in the classroom
