Healthcare Data Analyst

This is an onsite position. The successful candidate must reside in the Kansas City metro area. This job is responsible for performing statistical modeling and data analysis to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations that identify trends and patterns of business importance. The scope of this job includes collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs, and presenting data to influence decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reports that impact data driven decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs, develop technical requirements, and provide analytical interpretations. Leverage advanced analytics tools for reporting needs. Analyze trends and patterns in both structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights. Build and maintain standard statistical models to support ongoing business needs. Perform other job duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2-4 years related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Python and/or SQL. Experience building and maintaining dashboards, with strong preference for Looker. Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Analytics, Health Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Prior experience in the Utilization Management (UM) or Managed Care Payer space. Experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouse platforms. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to accelerate analytical workflows. Job Expectations Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed. Must work in accordance with applicable security policies and procedures to safeguard company and client information. Must be able to sit and view a computer screen for extended periods of time.
