Position Description: Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Labor/Janitorial professional to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess experience in cleaning, custodial tasks, and facilities maintenance, with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our facility while developing valuable skills in industrial cleaning and maintenance.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine cleaning duties across the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a hygienic environment.Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to ensure floors are safe and visually appealing.Assist with general custodial tasks including restocking supplies and sanitizing common areas.Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for equipment or infrastructure.Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning agents.Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and other shared spaces according to established protocols.Support warehouse operations by moving supplies, organizing storage areas, and assisting with light maintenance tasks as needed.QualificationsProven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within industrial or commercial settings.Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and facilities maintenance practices.Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards.Prior experience in industrial cleaning or warehouse porter roles is highly desirable.Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The janitorial aspect will be doing general cleaning responsibilities, break room, bathrooms, office space, conference rooms. So dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, pulling trash, and sanitizing everything. $19.50 - $19.50 Hourly
