Direct Support Professional (DSP) – One-on-One Care
$25–$30/hr | Flexible Hours | Burlington, Manchester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean & Union
Counties, NJ

Golden Heart Advocacy is hiring caring, reliable Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one care
for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Burlington, Manchester, Mercer,
Monmouth, Ocean, and Union Counties. Flexible scheduling — full-time and part-time positions available,
with new assignments added daily.

Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour (based on experience and acuity)

Location: Burlington, Manchester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, and Union Counties, NJ

Schedule: Flexible — full-time and part-time hours available, days/evenings/weekends. Tell us your
availability and we'll match you to a schedule that fits.

across NJ. Our team supports individuals with compassion, empathy, and empowerment, helping them
thrive in their homes and communities.

About This Position
We're looking for compassionate DSPs to provide one-on-one support to adults in the Burlington,
Manchester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, and Union County areas during daily routines and


community/recreational activities. Specific details about each individual's routine, interests, and support
plan is shared during the interview process.

Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one support during community outings and recreational activities
• Offer verbal reminders and guidance through daily routines
• Follow the Individual Support Plan and accurately document services provided
• Communicate consistently with the care team and family
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed

Requirements
• Valid driver's license and willingness to transport the individual in the community
• Reliable transportation within Burlington, Manchester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, or Union County
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to obtain

Preferred
• 1+ years of direct support, caregiving, or related experience
