Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist!

Job Description:


- Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- Weekend rotation: 1 per month
- Salary: Starting at $37.00+ based on experience
- Sign-on bonus: $20,000 with a 2-year commitment

Key Responsibilities:


- Conduct formal and informal evaluations of patient functions, focusing on skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
- Develop personalized, goal-specific treatment plans based on patient assessments and tolerance.
- Collaborate with physicians to submit and update written treatment regimes as necessary.
- Create detailed treatment schedules, coordinating with patients, families, and clinical support staff.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and therapeutic interventions.

Additional Duties:


- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Physical Therapy Aides, and students according to regulatory standards.
- Recommend and assist in securing adaptive/supportive equipment for patients.
- Document patient responses and treatment changes per affiliate policies and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in team conferences and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance patient care.
- Promote physical therapy within the community through educational initiatives.

Physical/Mental Requirements:


- Ability to handle stressful situations involving public contact, trauma, grief, and death.
- Move freely about the facility, performing essential job functions.
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking required; ability to lift and carry weights as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with policies and procedures.
