This is a hands-on, paid apprenticeship with on-the-job training, mentorship from certified professionals, and a clear path toward certification and advancement. What began as a local chimney service company has grown into a trusted industry leader offering chimney services, fireplaces, and outdoor living solutions. Our modern, customer-focused showrooms and highly trained team set us apart. We guide customers from initial design through installation—and continue supporting them with annual inspections and maintenance for years to come. - Clean and prepare work vehicles and equipment
- Organize tools, mix mortar, and prep/break down job sites
- Lift and move brick, stone, and materials
- Set up and safely use ladders, scaffolding, and fall-protection equipment
- Work on the ground, ladders, roofs of varying heights and pitches, and scaffolding
- Assist both the Chimney Sweep Division, Masonry Division, and Fireplace Installation Division as needed
- Work closely with certified chimney sweeps while receiving hands-on training
- Study and train toward chimney sweep certification
- Progress toward managing your own service route
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be comfortable working at heights
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Have reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Hold a valid Illinois driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Have strong people skills and a professional attitude
- Be punctual, dependable, and safety-minded
