Marketing & Communications Specialist

Marketing & Communications Specialist Location: Frisco, TX or Remote Schedule: Monday through Friday (8am to 5pm) Full Time The primary function of this role will be to provide advanced support for the day-to-day marketing efforts, campaigns, and requests. Additionally, they will assist with communication efforts of the company. This individual will: Design and produce complex marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, etc. Create relevant, meaningful content that adds value to our organization and build brand equity. Receive and process promotional orders received from operational branch sites. Maintain consistent messaging and enforce branding guidelines across the organization. Support local branches by executing and implementing marketing and communication tactics that strengthen the Addus and affiliate brands, service lines, and programs. Develop and distribute internal communications such as monthly email newsletters, general announcements, and other corporate communication initiatives. Ensure marketing and communication projects are organized and run smoothly, in a timely manner. Assist with the maintenance of company locations through online vendors and ensure accurate portrayal of contact information on search engines and websites. Provide advanced levels of general marketing support and assist other team members as needed. Be comfortable with and able to meet deadlines as required. Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience/Competency Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field strongly preferred At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience Advanced Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite Proficient in Canva, Smartsheet, and Outlook Self-starter with exceptional organizational and follow-through skills Advanced verbal and written communication skills with ample knowledge of grammar and sentence structure Creative, conversational writing style with the ability to infuse personality into all messaging Must have strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of an organization and build relationships Ability to influence others with tact and diplomacy Experience managing and implementing marketing campaigns and initiatives Highly organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns Working knowledge of graphic design and content creation Positive attitude with a desire to go above and beyond expectations Strong initiative to solve problems and detail-oriented Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships Ability to have fun and enjoy the work that you are doing Addus provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
