Requirements: 26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours/week. Previous work in Children's only hospital preferred.

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner RRT - Peds - FS

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Respiratory Care Practitioner will provide services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner for all appropriate age levels and in all areas served by the department. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic treatments, recording treatment information, performing diagnostic testing, and maintaining respiratory equipment. The practitioner will also act as a resource for medical staff and provide age-appropriate care to patients.

Required Qualifications:
• Graduation from an approved Respiratory Care Program
• Licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification within 3 months of hire
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential within 12 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of respiratory care experience in a critical care setting

• Strong interpersonal and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work under stress and maintain good working relationships
