Evaluation Specialist

Supporting the VA's Office of Suicide Prevention, the full-time Evaluation Specialist Jr. will design and implement evaluation systems to measure the effectiveness of elevated risk care management programs for Veterans, utilizing mixed-methods approaches such as surveys and focus groups to drive data-informed decision-making. Key responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive evaluation systems to assess program effectiveness and outcomes Conduct quantitative tracking and qualitative assessments to gather performance data Oversee the generation and dissemination of performance reports to VA program leadership and federal stakeholders Required qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing program evaluation systems Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Sciences, Health Policy, Research Methods, or a related field Prior experience supporting federal agency programs, preferably within VA or other federal healthcare contexts Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential Demonstrated proficiency in developing data collection instruments and producing written evaluation reports for federal stakeholders Virtual Vocations Inc
