Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at a high-volume custom sheet metal fabrication facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and automated systems—including high-speed laser cutters, automated powder coating lines, robotic welding stations, and CNC press brakes.  

Shift Options Available Shift differential pay may apply depending on the schedule.

• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

• 3rd Shift (Night): Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

• Weekend Shift: Friday – Sunday (12-Hour Shift, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on precision metal fabrication equipment (lasers, press brakes, CNC punches, robotic welders, automated powder coating lines).

• Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM routines to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.

• Electrical & PLCs: Perform electrical diagnostics up to 480V (3-phase); read electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs.

• Mechanical Fabrication: Perform basic welding (MIG/TIG), fitting, and mechanical assembly to repair or modify facility equipment and safety guarding.

• Facilities Support: Maintain general facility infrastructure, including industrial air compressors, exhaust systems, and conveyers.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), arc flash, and company safety guidelines.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
