At Chick-fil-A, being a Shift Leader is an opportunity to lead by example, serve others, and help create an exceptional experience for both guests and Team Members. Shift Leaders support restaurant leadership by leading shifts, maintaining operational standards, and helping Team Members succeed.

We are seeking a dependable, positive, and people-focused individual who demonstrates strong character, takes initiative, and leads with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant
• Participate operationally in day-to-day restaurant activities
• Create an exceptional guest experience through friendly, accurate, and efficient service
• Set the tone for the shift and lead Team Members by example
• Coach and encourage Team Members to meet Chick-fil-A standards and expectations
• Assist with training new Team Members
• Monitor and adjust Team Member deployment based on business needs
• Help maintain standards for Speed of Service, hospitality, cleanliness, and food quality
• Address Team Member and guest needs promptly and respectfully
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and serve as a key holder when assigned
• Complete cash handling, drawer counts, and required shift procedures
• Communicate shift updates, opportunities, and concerns to the leadership team

Qualifications

• Previous Chick-fil-A, restaurant, customer service, or leadership experience preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong commitment to hospitality and serving others
• Ability to coach and encourage Team Members
• Ability to make sound decisions and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team with shared ownership and responsibility
• Desire to learn, grow, and develop as a Leader

Physical Requirements

Ability to perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations, including standing for extended periods and lifting, reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, grasping, and arm-hand coordination as required by the position.
