Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | Long-Term Care / Nursing Home setting | Nashua, New Hampshire | Start date 06/15/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $329-$345 per week | 35 guaranteed hours per week | Shift: 5x8 days. This travel position supports an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program in a long-term care environment, under supervision of a licensed OT.

Responsibilities
- Support the supervising Occupational Therapist by implementing therapy plans for residents with physical and cognitive impairments.
- Conduct therapy sessions under OT direction, focusing on activities of daily living, range of motion, functional mobility, equipment education, and meaningful therapeutic activities.
- Monitor resident progress, document responses to interventions, and communicate changes to the supervising OT; update treatment records accurately.
- Prepare and maintain therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies; ensure proper infection control and safety practices during all sessions.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team; participate in rounds and contribute to care planning and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Educate residents and families on therapy goals, exercises, and strategies to support continued progress outside structured sessions.

Requirements
- Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential
- 1+ year of experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work a 5x8 shift and maintain 35 guaranteed hours per week
- Eligibility to work in the United States and to travel to the assignment location
- Comfort working in a long-term care setting and adhering to facility safety and infection control guidelines
