Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including detailed assessments of movement, strength, and functional limitations to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Create individualized treatment strategies that align with each patient’s goals and needs, clearly communicating these plans to both patients and their families.
- Implement various therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, continuously adapting strategies based on patient progress and emerging healthcare best practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive patient care through regular communication and documentation of changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while contributing to departmental performance goals.
- Engage in continuous professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and pursuing further education opportunities, while also serving as a clinical instructor for interns and new team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will involve a diverse patient population that presents a variety of physical challenges, from post-operative rehabilitation to chronic pain management. Qualifications
- A valid Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
- Active physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Preferred Experience
While previous work experience is advantageous, candidates with a strong commitment to learning and professional growth will also be considered. A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in an outpatient setting.
Compensation and Benefits
