What You'll Do

As a Housekeeper , you'll help ensure our residents and team members have a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms and public areas
• Ensuring assigned areas are clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming
• Following established cleaning schedules and completing required work records
• Properly using cleaning products, disinfectants, equipment, and supplies
• Following safety procedures and manufacturer instructions when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Using appropriate personal protective equipment when handling infectious materials
• Maintaining an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies and communicating supply needs to supervisors
• Operating, cleaning, and properly storing housekeeping equipment
• Keeping work and assignment areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Following infection control and cross-contamination prevention procedures
• Reporting hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, or other safety concerns
• Using supplies, equipment, and other resources efficiently
• Working collaboratively with team members to support the needs of the campus
• Treating residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with kindness, respect, and dignity

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma/GED or one year of previous work experience in lieu of a diploma/GED

Preferred:

• At least one year of housekeeping experience

We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment . Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are just as important.
