About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Payroll to lead and oversee the payroll operations for its diverse global workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for 8,500 employees, including those in various divisions such as stores and corporate offices. This leadership role demands a deep understanding of payroll systems, particularly ADP, and time management systems like Kronos, with experience in integrations with Workday. The Head of Payroll will also be tasked with driving operational excellence, managing a small team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the payroll function. Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as effective stakeholder engagement across the organization, are key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Head of Payroll role at the company should have a proven track record in a senior payroll leadership position, ideally within a large and complex organizational setting. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment, and a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative culture. Experience in handling payroll for a mix of casual and permanent employees, as well as a franchisee workforce, is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a strategic partner, capable of driving process improvements and ensuring the payroll function remains efficient and scalable as the company continues to grow.
