Job Description

Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images for medical diagnosis. Assesses patient needs and operates imaging systems with precision, supporting accurate interpretation by radiologists.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues.
• Perform additional imaging procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy as required.
• Assess, plan, and deliver patient care, ensuring comfort and safety across all age groups.
• Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems effectively for image transfer and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as R.T. (R)(CT) or R.T. (R).
• Possess valid radiologic licensure in the state of practice.
• Have advanced certification in CT modality (required in OR and HI; preferred in CA).
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Hold a valid fluoroscopy license if operating fluoroscopy equipment in the state of employment.
