Position Overview


Fall River Health Services is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support residents in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing basic nursing care, and maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
• Assist with feeding, meal setup, and monitoring food and fluid intake/output
• Take and record vital signs, weights, and other patient data
• Support mobility by lifting, turning, repositioning, and ambulating residents
• Assist with routine treatments such as hot/cold applications and specimen collection
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident rooms and work areas
• Prepare rooms for new admissions
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Follow all facility policies, including safety, infection control, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification through the South Dakota Board of Nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Details

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Holiday coverage required
