Location: Scooter's Coffee - Waterloo, IL

About the Role:

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll bring kindness, drive, and initiative to our fast-paced, customer-focused team. You'll help oversee staffing, training, operations, and sales while keeping energy high and the coffee flowing. Your leadership will directly impact the success of our team and the smiles of our customers.

What You'll Do:

Support daily store operations with a hands-on, servant leadership style

Assist in hiring, training, and developing a high-performing barista team

Help set and achieve sales goals while managing labor and product costs

Deliver an exceptional customer experience at every opportunity

Maintain high standards for cleanliness, quality, and efficiency

Foster a positive and inclusive environment that reflects Scooter's values

What You Bring:

Kindness and a people-first mindset

High energy, strong initiative, and attention to detail

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Prior experience in retail, food service, or hospitality leadership (preferred)

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings
