The RN delivers patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence‑based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Qualifications Associate's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non‑leadership role as an RN. RNs hired after those dates with an Associate's degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree. RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice. Licenses & Certifications Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Registered Nurse (RN) Additional Qualifications Minimum required experience: 1 year circulating and/or scrubbing experience in an acute operating room setting. Vascular experience required. BLS and ACLS required. Candidates will be required to take call and report within 30 minutes of call time.
