Senior Associate Attorney

Senior Associate AttorneyAn established and growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of relevant experience to join our team. We are looking for an attorney who is licensed in good standing to practice law in Florida, and who is passionate about representing clients in a wide variety of commercial cases. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling both plaintiff and defense work, depending on the caseload.Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court.Conduct thorough legal research and draft well-written, persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in all aspects of a case, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trials.Independently manage cases, while maintaining strong communication with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.Develop and execute case strategy, while keeping clients informed and involved throughout the litigation process.Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and the legal community.Contribute to the firm's growth and success by developing new business, if possible.Qualifications:J.D. from an accredited law school.Licensed in good standing to practice law in Florida.A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.Excellent drafting, writing, and research skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability and confidence to manage cases independently and go to trial.Experience with all aspects of a case in state and federal court.Portable book of business is a plus, but not required.What They Offer:Competitive compensation package, commensurate with experience.Potential for growth within the firm.Opportunities for professional development and mentorship.Collaborative and supportive work environment.No minimum billable requirement.Salary: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
