Job Details Job ID: 86003 • Location: Main Campus – Berkeley • Employment: Full Time Responsibilities 40% Co‑Develop, create, and manage alumni and current student surveys; support outreach plans; contribute to student information systems; provide comprehensive administrative support across career services, student services, marketing, admissions, and facilities; assist event planning (admissions, orientation, graduation, employer visits, immersions, virtual events, showcases, competitions); maintain student information on success platforms; support OPT and letter verification; event coordination. 15% Provide operational and administrative support to the program; develop student support procedures and guidelines; manage reports on career outcomes, financial activity, and HR. 15% Lead a small staff of student workers: schedule, hiring, task roles, HR responsibilities, onboarding, training, form completion, student recruitment, employer outreach, onboarding, retention, alumni support. 15% Oversee Blum facilities and space logistics; manage equipment needs; develop reservation policies; maintain inventory and AV resources. 10% Assist Program Director with planning and coordination of program operations; support case‑management reporting and data summaries. 5% Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience or training. Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising, and counseling. Knowledge of administrative operational activities: event planning, fundraising, risk management, website design, accounting, payroll, contracts, grants regulations and guidelines. Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality. Strong skills in short‑term planning, analysis, problem‑solving, and customer service. Preferred Qualifications Thorough knowledge of university rules, regulations, processes, protocols for budget, accounting, fund management, or personnel management. Solid knowledge of common university‑specific computer applications. Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, and/or human resources policies and procedures for staff and academic employees. Demonstrated ability to develop reports using Microsoft Excel, summarize, analyze and explore large datasets using intermediate functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP and conditional formatting. Salary & Benefits The budgeted salary range for this 100% FTE position is $97,572.24 (Step 1) to $101,497.68 (Step 3) yearly, with a full salary range of $97,572.24 to $147,872.16 yearly.
