Remote Paralegal

We’re seeking an experienced Paralegal to manage a caseload of Personal Injury and Wrongful Death matters from intake through trial and case resolution. This is a REMOTE opportunity. Candidates MUST reside in California. Responsibilities Manage assigned personal injury and wrongful death cases Track and meet court and case deadlines Communicate with clients and conduct phone interviews Order and subpoena medical, billing, employment, and other records Prepare and review pleadings, correspondence, and case documents Handle e-filing and e-service Coordinate depositions and assist with trial preparation Prepare witness/exhibit lists, trial exhibits, and other trial materials Conduct detailed file reviews and follow up on outstanding tasksMaintain case management systems and case records Research and gather information related to clients and cases Work closely with attorneys, partners, managers, and other legal staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate 1+ year of office experience; law firm experience preferred Personal Injury/Wrongful Death experience preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Adobe Typing speed of 45+ WPM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage high-volume work and tight deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate 1+ year of office experience; law firm experience preferred Personal Injury/Wrongful Death experience preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and Adobe Typing speed of 45+ WPM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage high-volume work and tight deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: The pay transparency policy is available here: For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
