Technical Data Product Manager

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years experience in product management, understanding data and analytics methodologies
• Prior pepsico experience, specifically supporting IBP and/or Global Data Products
• Experience in understanding queries in sql and databricks using azure cloud
• 2+ years of experience working in Food & Beverage, Consumer Products or Retail industries.
• Experience building, leading and designing data based solutions on large scale projects
• Experience working in a data centric environment
  • End to end data sets
  • Sequence of data
  • Data roadmapping
  • Enterprise data warehousing
• Experience in directing and managing scrum teams of data engineers and data governance.
• Help in forecast planning for production with internal data products
• Agile experience

Plusses:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• Experience working with UPC codes
• Experience working with customer data and consumer goods
  • Scan data, market share or within these companies: Circana, IRI, NPD or Nielsen

Day-to-day:

Within D+A's Enterprise Data Operations organization, the Technical Data Product Management Manager delivers three critical dimensions:

• End-to-end Data + Analytics delivery execution ownership and optimization of resource assignment, sequencing, allocation
• Oversee the design, building, and managing of how business-ready data lives within the Enterprise Data Foundation
• Drive coordination between Domains, Products and Projects to help drive re-use and reduce redundancy/duplication in the D+A and broader PEP portfolio

Accountabilities

• Delivery Feasibility and Accountability

• Manage delivery against key technical delivery milestones what classifies a milestone?
• Collaboratively manage reporting that measures D+A's execution against key hydration milestones
• Lead x-chapter Pod resources towards shared goal are chapter pods scrum teams?
• Participate in PI Planning to coordinate between domain goals and program/product milestones

• Technical Documentation and Artifacts

• Work with multiple stakeholders to author feature definitions and user stories to drive delivery
• Collaboratively design and document the data product artifacts required by the team
• Ensure technical documentation is readily available for data products produced and that value is communicated to key stakeholders
• Ensure cataloguing of data in the Data Foundation is accessible to business stakeholders

• Presentation, Narrative and Adoption

• Help track benefits of these insights to leadership to drive acceptance

• Relationship and Stakeholder Management

• Ensure Business customer expectations from D+A are managed and seek to eliminate disconnect on what can be addressed
