Titan Security is currently hiring Security Officers to work at a location in Roseville, Michigan.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds
• Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information
• Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
• Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
• Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
• Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers: Bi-lingual considered a plus. Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

Pay and Benefits of Security Officers: Starting at $16.80 - 18.00 per hour depending on position. Paid time off and paid holidays. Medical and Dental insurance. Opportunities for career growth and promotion. Skills-enhancing training.
