Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Instructional Aide to support students and classroom staff in a school setting in Long Beach, CA. This substitute position is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain additional school-based experience, with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom and instructional support to students
Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and student supervision
Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Help maintain a safe, positive, and structured learning environment
Assist with classroom organization and other duties as needed
Follow directions from teachers and school administration
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with students
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Compensation & Opportunity
