Diesel Truck Mechanic

We are currently seeking a dedicated Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team and help maintain our fleet of Dump Trucks and Semi Tractors. Responsibilities Perform thorough and accurate preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on company vehicles. Complete all scheduled PM maintenance tasks, including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations. Carry out unscheduled maintenance and repairs as directed by the supervisor. Diagnose and repair complex issues involving engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, brakes, exhaust, emissions, suspension, drivetrain, and hydraulic systems. Provide emergency roadside service as needed to minimize downtime. Document all repairs and parts used on work orders accurately and completely. Communicate repair needs, parts requirements, and any obstacles to the supervisor in a timely manner. Collaborate with manufacturer technical support when addressing emissions and aftertreatment system issues. Qualifications Ability to lift 50-75 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand, squat, and kneel for extended periods. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. ASE certification is a plus. Certification with Cummins, Mack, or Freightliner is a plus.
