Job OpportunityPosition: Ambulatory Registered Nurse (Case Manager) - OB ClinicLocation: Juneau, AKThe Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting, supporting individuals and families across the continuum of care. This role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while promoting quality outcomes and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and established policies.Perform clinical procedures and provide education and care coordination in collaboration with providers and interdisciplinary teams.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards.Promote culturally responsive care and positive patient experiences.Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care.Recognize changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions or escalate care as needed.Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes promptly and accurately in the electronic health record.Advocate for patients and assist in navigating the healthcare system.Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain required competencies and certifications.Required QualificationsCurrent full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or another U.S. state.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.High school diploma or equivalent is required.Preferred CertificationsCase Management certification is preferred.Personal AttributesThe ideal candidate should demonstrate professionalism, accountability, flexibility, and teamwork.
