Assistant Manager, Product - Fashion Island

Overview The Assistant Manager, Product serves as a brand ambassador and business leader for a designated product category at the boutique, focused on delivering elevated client experiences and driving sales. This role coaches and manages a team of salespeople, partners with the Boutique Director and Home Office on assortment and planning, and fully owns the performance of assigned categories such as Handbags, RTW, and Costume Jewelry. The Assistant Manager spends time on the selling floor while leading category strategy, reporting, and team development. Responsibilities Coach, develop, and manage boutique sales team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve business goals Drive all aspects of assigned product category including analysis, reporting, and assortment planning Partner with Boutique Director and Home Office buying team on category strategy and execution Lead daily operations on the selling floor and ensure boutique image and operational standards Run product category initiatives, monitor KPIs, and implement improvements Represent the brand in the market and grow the client base through local partnerships and events Deliver training on product knowledge, service delivery, and brand savoir faire Requirements Minimum 3 years of related retail or boutique management experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Proven ability to coach and lead retail sales teams and drive category performance Ability to lift 15 lbs and perform in-store duties Flexible availability including late nights, weekends, and some holidays Excellent communication and client service skills; foreign language skills preferred Passion for the brand, curiosity, and a desire to grow professionally within luxury retail #J-18808-Ljbffr Brobston Group LLC
