Job Description Job Description PDS Tech is Now Hiring a Technical Writer in Dayton, OH! Pay Rate: 24.00/hr Schedule: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Location: Dayton, OH Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized Technical Writer to support Marketing and Sales teams with quoting, product documentation, specification management, and vendor coordination. This role is essential to maintaining accurate product information, supporting regional sales managers, and ensuring that downstream marketing efforts align with brand and product objectives—particularly within the HFR Body Protection product line. You will work closely with Product Managers, sales teams, and distributors, providing timely and precise technical support on new and existing products. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for customer and sales team inquiries related to new and existing product quotes Assist Product Manager with initiatives supporting field sales, including promotional programs, training opportunities, vendor communication, and issue resolution Support global and regional sales managers to achieve Product Management goals and assist with key account coordination Quote all products and generate accurate pricing for distributors using SAP Develop and maintain departmental specifications Create specifications for new business opportunities Support vendor relationship management and maintain communication flow across territories Core Skills & Competency Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Proficiency in SAP quoting (internally developed or externally acquired systems) Demonstrated team-building and global problem-solving skills Self motivated, proactive, and effective at managing time independently Experience with Excel and Access database management (highly preferred) Qualifications Prior experience in technical writing, product documentation, quoting, or sales support roles Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate technical information clearly and accurately Familiarity with product specifications, quoting processes, or distributor support workflows is beneficial Why Join Us?
