Job Details:

• Job Title: LPN: Psych
• Location: Milledgeville, GA
• Setting: Psychiatric Hospital
• Pay Range: $1400 - 1500 weekly
• Schedule: 3pm - 11:30pm, 8-Hour Evenings, every other weekend
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly
• Requirements: 1 year of experience as an LPN; Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1 year of experience in Psych; Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license; Be willing to obtain Georgia licensure

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic care and treatments, such as dressing wounds, treating bedsores, administering enemas, douches, alcohol rubs, massages, or performing catheterizations.
• Answer individuals' calls and determine how to assist them.
• Observe and chart changes in patients' conditions, reporting adverse reactions and taking necessary actions.
• Measure and record vital signs like height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on charts.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans tailored to mental health patients.
• Ensure patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation through dedicated care and attention.
