Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner

An occupational health organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Cohoes, NY to support employee health services in a clinical setting. This role focuses on conducting occupational health examinations, reviewing testing results, and evaluating diagnostic information for adult patients.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift : Day shift
- Schedule : Monday-Friday
- Hours : 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
- Setting : Occupational Health
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-employment, occupational health, and fitness-for-duty medical examinations.
- Review respirator questionnaires and complete clearance reports for employees using various respirators.
- Review audiometric testing results and prepare reports for employees and referring agencies.
- Assist with diagnostic testing, including electrocardiograms and pulmonary function testing.

Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient health concerns.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Active New York State Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in an occupational health or primary care setting.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification.
