Key Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active California state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start). Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply. Previous experience in a school setting strongly desired. Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and manage documentation efficiently. Primary Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency challenges. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Maintain detailed and accurate student records, progress notes, and reports. Offer consultation and relevant training to faculty regarding speech and language support strategies. Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and professional development sessions. Continuously monitor and document student progress while adjusting interventions as needed.
