Description: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting is required. The unit has 44 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. Staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech. Equipment includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego. The documentation system used is Meditech Expanse. Scheduling requirements include Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts between 7 AM and 5 PM, with rotating weekends. The facility may require floating to acute hospitals if rehabilitation census is low. Patient experience requirements include using AIDET communication and immediate service recovery. There are no specific certifications required for this position. The dress code consists of black scrub bottoms and a royal blue top preferred. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are available for review.
