- Design, implement, and manage security systems, tools, and processes to protect company assets.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and security alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with IT teams to secure networks, applications, and data across cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to conduct security awareness training and promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Stay up to date with emerging cybersecurity threats and trends and recommend improvements to mitigate evolving risks.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure the protection of data and systems in case of a security breach.
- Participate in the design and implementation of secure system architectures and infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong understanding of network security, threat analysis, and risk management.
- Experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability scanning software, and penetration testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and network protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
