- CRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) - ARRT
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT
- CRT-Reg Card Elect Specialist (RCES) - CCINT'L
- CRT-Reg Card Inter Specialist (RCIS) - CCINT'L
- CRT-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent

- Expertise in interventional procedures
- Must be able to train others in clinical skills
Description:
The Senior Special Procedure Technologist provides direct care for patients undergoing heart and/or vascular procedures.
The incumbent assists physicians and delivers quality patient and family-centered care.
Responsibilities include monitoring patients during procedures and providing intra-procedural technical support.
The position requires effective communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, families, and ancillary departments.
Quality assurance checks on technical equipment are essential.
Maintaining radiation safety standards for staff and patients is crucial.
The technologist may be required to provide training to less experienced staff.
Duties also involve monitoring hemodynamics and documenting procedures.
The candidate must assist physicians using sterile techniques and participate in various imaging and vascular cases.
They should also be familiar with advanced procedures and device implants in the EP lab.
Physical demands include the ability to carry, push, and pull weights, as well as standing, walking, and hand dexterity.
The role requires good visual acuity and the ability to pass color vision tests.
