Schedule

This position requires 12-hour shifts (AWS) with varying days and times.

Job Description

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) will perform a variety of laboratory tests across multiple areas, including High Complexity Tests, as defined by CLIA. The CLS is responsible for the accuracy and reporting of results while applying principles, theories, techniques, and professional judgment. Proficiency in computer and microscopic applications, along with effective communication skills, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Ensure accurate reporting of results and adherence to quality standards.
• Apply professional judgment and laboratory techniques for result analysis.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid and current California CLS license.
• A minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience is required.
• Prior travel experience is necessary.
