The Development Group engages in design, development, and testing of these high-speed financial applications in a real-time environment. We are a global network of developers, and everyone engages in a high degree of collaboration across the global team. The projects are technically challenging in an environment that is very engaging. Projects will utilize a multitude of different languages and skill sets, including C++, and a small amount of DB work. The heaviest focus is on C++ and object-oriented development, and we are aggressive in using the latest features of C++ (C++11). Projects center around both the Linux and Windows operating systems, with a heavy focus on Linux.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer related field or similar5+ years of software development experience3+ years of object oriented development, in particular C++Excellent communication skillsStrong focus on collaborationStrong analytical skills for troubleshooting and diagnosticAbility to thoroughly test and debug code, with a focus on test driven developmentAbility to suggest new technologies, and quickly adapt to change
