Responsibilities You Will Embrace

• Carry out a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during all procedures, offering clear explanations and reassurance throughout the scanning process
• Work closely with radiologists and referencing medical professionals to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Skillfully operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring timely reporting of any malfunctions
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technology

Education and Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Credentialing Requirements

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
