About the Position

TransForce is seeking Class A CDL regional flatbed drivers for an on-site opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. Drivers will operate automatic-transmission flatbed equipment on regional routes with light-touch freight handling.

Pay & Schedule Details
  • $29.00 per hour, $30 per diem
  • Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,600
  • Schedule: Varies, driver can expect between 50 and 60 hours per week
Job Details
  • Route type: Regional - 2 to 4 layovers per week
  • Equipment: Flatbed/Conestoga
  • Transmission: Automatic
  • Freight handling: Light touch - tarping and strapping
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a Class A CDL flatbed truck on regional routes.
  • Safely transport assigned freight according to company and DOT requirements.
  • Perform light-touch freight handling as required.
  • Operate automatic-transmission equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Follow the assigned Sunday-through-Thursday schedule.
  • Maintain a professional commitment to safe driving and reliable service.
Minimum Requirements
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • DOT Med Card
  • 9+ months of recent and verifiable CDL driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
