We are seeking a versatile hardscape/construction crew leader to join our team! Versatility is the key in this position. Our company offers a wide variety of services and we are looking for a hands on, go to leader that can grow along side our company. This will include leading projects such as walkways, patios, walls, light deck/carpentry work, as well as skid steer/mini excavator work, landscaping services, etc. Responsibilities
- Ensure all employees follow safety regulations and company procedures
- Guide team members on projects
- Deliver feedback to management at the end of each day
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing efficiency and performance
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of all equipment and tools
- Hands on leadership and coaching of staff
- Communication with homeowner to guide through project and ensure satisfaction
- Previous experience as a crew leader or similar position is preferred
- Snow plowing experience
- Must have a Mass DOT (or willing to obtain one)
- Hydraulic/Hoisting license is a plus!
- Ability to guide and coach staff on the job
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills
- Knowledge of all relevant safety regulations
- Experience with all phases of hardscape
- Some construction experience
